John Howell-Stiefvater, LMBT

Biography of John Howell-Stiefvater

John was born in Atlanta, GA, but raised in Sterling, VA. His first career path was television production, which he found unfulfilling. In 1999 he moved to Sarasota, FL. He worked in retail management for a bit until he discovered the career of massage therapy. A friend had gone through the curriculum at Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. She suggested John look into it to explore his options. Thankfully, it all felt right between the cost of tuition, class schedules, and the professional opportunities. John graduated in December 2002. His first job was in a chiropractic clinic named Thorassic Park. He was a medical massage therapist as well as a chiropractic assistant until late 2005; when he decided to move back north to be closer to family. He settled in Winchester, VA and lives with his spouse, 3 dogs, and a cat. Throughout his career, John has been trained in many modalities. He pulls from his knowledge and experience with each modality to provide the proper custom session to get results for his clients. After 21 years, he still learns new ways of working on clients/patients to help them in the best ways possible to heal.
